Just another food blog, really.  I collect tons of recipes, so I try them out here.  This blog will also serve as a kind of archive for stuff that my mom and grandmother used to make when I was a kid that I don’t want to forget how to make.  I bet my mom will make a comment about how I spelled “Kitchen” wrong.

I also have a lovely boyfriend and two three cats – Wanda and Angus, who are a torbie-and-white and ginger-and-white sister/brother tag team, and Ariel, a beautiful black boy who is on an extended visit with us until his owner moves into a new flat or his allergic flatmate moves out. They will occasionally frequently make appearances here when they get under my feet.

UPDATE: I got an iPhone and the Hipstamatic app.  It makes intentionally crappy retro photos, which suits me just fine.  Most of the photos on this site will likely be a combination of the two, until I save up for a proper DSLR.  So count on a lot of iPhone / Hipstmatic pix, as it’s going to be a while before the DSLR enters my life.
